MACDONALD – At Cape George, January 29, Duncan J. MacDonald, aged 87. He leaves to mourn his wife, Christina MacDonald, and three daughters: Mrs. Albert Falkenham, Cape George; Mrs. Valentine Chisholm, Antigonish; Mrs. Dan MacDonald, New Glasgow; and two sons, Anthony and Hugh Gabriel at home. One son Dan made the supreme sacrifice in the great war. The deceased was of a kind and gentle disposition , a devoted husband and father. He suffered from a stroke some time ago, and was frequently consoled by the sacraments of the Church. His funeral was largely attended and after requiem Mass by Rev. D. Beaton, his remains were laid to rest at the church of the Rosary. Ballantyne Cove.
