Funeral services for Edith M. MacDonald, 90, will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday in the Presbyterian Chapel, 235 S. 5th St. W., with the Rev. Richard Jones officiating. Burial will be in Missoula Cemetery under the direction of Squire-Simmons-Carr Funeral Directors. Miss MacDonald died Monday at Amherst, Mass., where she had lived in recent years. Born Feb., 28, 1883, at Cape George, Nova Scotia, she came to Montana with her parents in 1896. She settled in Missoula in 1908. She lived here until she retired in 1959 when she moved to Amherst to live with her sister. She had worked in the office of the Missoula Drug Co. and later worked for the Brooks Insurance Agency. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in an Eastern Star Chapter in Amherst. Survivors include three sisters, Miss Ida MacDonald, Amherst; Mrs. Anna Rider, Hot Springs, and Mrs. Katherine Argo, Ekalaka; four nieces, and four nephews. Casket Bearers will be Arthur Argo, Paul Argo, Jack Lounsbury, Ted Mefford, William Riggert and Harry Urton.
