MacDonald, Lizzie

7 Apr 1931

MacDonald – At her home at Morar, April 7 in her 35th year, Lizzie, beloved wife of Duncan McDonald. Stricken with influenza a few days previously, her death was unexpected and was a great shock to her relatives and friends, and cast a gloom over the entire community.  She was of a cheerful and lovable disposition.  A devout and faithful member of Holy Church, she was frequently by the sacraments.  With her husband and children she moved from Morven, this county, seven months ago to her former home at Morar where her father and mother reside.  She will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of her acquaintance.  The entire community extends sympathy to the bereaved husband and five little children, and father and mother; also four sisters: Mrs. Louie Loving, Mrs Fred Kaldsoy, Mrs. Joseph Ecker, Mrs. J.J. Tobin, all in the USA and two brothers, Roddie and Anthony in the Canadian west.  Buried in Georgeville.
