Funeral services for the late Margaret Mary MacDonald, 68, of West River, Antigonish County, and formerly of Boston, Mass., were held this past Monday in St. Joseph’s Church, St. Joseph’s, with Rev. Frank MacNeil officiating, assisted by Rev. Hector Macdonald and Rev. Charles Brewer. Burial was in the parish cemetery. Miss MacDonald died on November 27 in St. Martha’s Hospital. Pallbearers were nephews Sandy MacDonald, Reggie MacDonald, JIm MacDonald, Allan MacDougall, Leo MacDougall and Donnie MacDougall. Born in Beaver Meadow, Antigonish County, she was a daughter of the late Alex A. and Janet (macRae) MacDonald. She lived in Boston for the past 30 years. She is survived by two sisters, Christina (Mrs. Dave) Schofield, Woodstock, Ont.; and Mary (Mrs. Joseph) MacDougall, West River; four brothers, Donald D., James River; Allan R., Beaver Meadows; Alexander J., Sarnia, Ont.; And Davied J., Woodstock, Ont.; and several nieces and nephews.
