Mrs. Hugh MacDonald Ballantynes Cove, passed away at St. Martha’s Hospital following a lengthy illness. She was 83 years of age. She had lived her married life in Ballantynes Cove 45 years. Her husband predeceased her 6 years ago. She is survived by two sons David and Charles who tenderly cared for her in her lengthy illness. One daughter Mrs. Alex Kell, Williams Point. She also leaves one brother Colin MacAdam St. Andrew’s Antigonish Co. The funeral was held at Ballantynes Cove with Fr. Bryden celebrating Requiem Mass. Pallbearers were: Stephen MacDonalnd, C.F. MacDonald, Alex R. MacEachern, Leo Roberts, Allen MacDonald, William MacInnis.
