Pte. H.A. Macdonald Killed in Action – Duncan A. MacDonald, Morar, received official notification last week that his son, Pte. Hugh Allen MacDonald was killed while on active service in France on June 7, 1944. Pte MacDonald who went overseas with the North Nova Scotia Highlanders, was reported missing early last summer. Mr. Macdonald, through the long, anxious months of waiting never gave up home of ultimate good news, and much sympathy goes out to him in his grievous loss.
