At his home, Revelstoke, B.C., April 12 after an illness of three months, Roderick Lauchlin MacDonald, aged 75 years and nine months. He was a native of Bailey’s Brook, Pictou County, and was the son of the late Lauchlin (Ban) MacDonald and Sarah Macdonald of Cape George. Mrs. MacDonald went to British Columbia some 35 years ago. For quite a number of years he was employed in the bridge and building department of the Canadian Pacific Railway, as a bridge carpenter; from which service he was superannuated in 1916. He is survived by three sons – John, Lauchlin and William, also two brothers and one sister……
