MacDougall, Catherine

At St. Martha’s Hospital, Dec 26, Catherine MacDougall in her 55th year.  She was the daughter of the late Alexander McDougald and Christina McEachern of Morar.  She was a kind and gentle disposition and in carrying on her occupation as a seamstress for many years made a great many friends and acquaintances.  She was ill with asthma for some twenty years and she bore this affliction with great patience.  She died fortified by the last rites of the Catholic church of which she was a devout member.  She leaves to mourn their loss one brother Dan, foreman in the West and one sister, Mrs. Thomas McDonald, Antigonish. After requiem mass at the Cathedral by Lev. Lewis MacLellan, her remains were laid to rest in St. Ninians’s cemetery, Rev. B. Campbell officiating at the grave.
