MacDougall, Catherine

30 Sep 1927

At Georgeville, on Friday afternoon, September 30, Catherine, widow of the late D.A. MacDougall, who had been in failing health for the past few years, was in the 76th year of her age.  She was a woman whose character knew no bounds.  She beheld God in social intercourse with friends and strangers. Indulgent to human frailty and ever thoughtful of others, her judgment must have been “is the kindness of God’s justice”.  She leaves to mourn their loss, four sons and two daughters;  John D, with whom she made her home; Colin F. of Grand Forks, B.C.; Alex and Archie of Butte, Montana; Mrs. R. MacPherson of New Denver, B.C. and Mrs. D.R. MacGillivray of Lennox.  The funeral which took place on Sunday morning, October 2nd, was largely attended.
