MacEachern, Allister, 65 of Silverwood Drive, Antigonish passed away on April 18, 2010 in St. Martha’s Regional Hospital, Antigonish.  Born in Antigonish, he was a son of the late Edward and Florence (MacDonald) MacEachern.  Allister was a machinist and owner of Riverside Machine Works for thirty-seven years.  He devoted all his working life to his chosen profession.  He had a passion for antique cars and traveled to many NASCAR events with friends.  He was a member of the St. Ninians Parish.  He is survived by his wife of forty-one years, Sharon (Harper); daughter, Rhonda (Darren Delorey, Edmonton; sisters, Greta (Archie) Cameron, Mahoney’s Beach; Magdalen (Dave)Lowe, Antigonish and brother Wendell, Mississauga, Ont.  Cremation has taken place.  No visitation by request.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Ninian’s Cathedral on Thursday at 11:00 am with Reverend Tom MacNeil presiding. Burial in St. Ninian’s Cemetery.
