Funeral services for the late Elizabeth MacEachern, 72 Orchard Villa, Antigonish, were held Aug 17 in St. George’s Church, Georgeville, with Rev. Gilles LeBlanc and Rev. Gerard MacInnis officiating. Burial was in the parish cemetery. Ms MacEachern died Aug, 14 at home. Reader at the Mass was Shirley Brown. Pallbearers were Gerard MacEachern, Bernie MacEachern, Jack MacEachern, Bill MacEachern, Eugene MacEachern and Bob Gillis. Born in Livingstones Cove, she was a daughter of the late William J. and Catherine (MacInnis) McEachern. In her youth she entered Morar School and Mount St Bernard College. She was a member of the St. Ninian’s Parish Antigonish. She worked as a homemaker in various locations in the Antigonish area. She is survived by three sisters, Rita MacDonald, Arisaig; Catherine Gillis and Peggy macEachern, Antigonish; brother John Hugh, Pictou; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three sisters, Florence Shilling, Toronto; Thelma Burke, Halifax; Ruth Diggins, New Glasgow; three brothers, Mark and twin boys in infancy.
