Eustace MacEachern well known life-long resident of Ballantyne’s Cove, Antigonish County, died late Monday night at the age of 65. For years a fisherman-farmer of the community, Mr. MacEachern was in declining health for some time. He was the son of Malcolm MacEachern and Mary MacNeil, both of Ballantyne’s Cove.
Mr. MacEachern is survived by his wife Margaret, five girls, Mary, and Anna Boston Mass; Eva (Mrs. Robert Stahr), Greensberg, Penn.; Elizabeth and Cecilia at home; four boys: Jack, Ronald, Gerard and Daniel, all at home: three sisters in Boston, a brother in Boston, and another brother in Idaho.
Funeral services will be held at 9 o’clock Thursday morning with Requiem Mass at Holy Rosary Church, Ballantynes Cove.
