MacEachern, Ian Ronald, of Cape George, Antigonish Co., passed away at St. Martha’s Hospital, Antigonish, on Monday November 6th 2006 in his 55th year. He was the son of the late Cyril & Iola (Sweeney) MacEachern. He grew up in Kentville and lived the last 10 years of his life in Cape George. He is survived by son, Trevor of Dartmouth; grandchildren: Tyler & Hailey of Glenmont Kings Co.; and brother, Alvin of B.C. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation by family request. A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 11th from the Holy Rosary Church, Ballantynes Cove, with a reception to follow.Interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of one’s choice.
