Rites for Accident Victim – A concelebrated Requiem Mass was held in St. Columba Church, Lakevale, for Margaret Estelle MacEachern, 46, of Montreal and formerly of Cape George. Miss MacEachern died November 9 following an automobile accident near Montreal. The pallbearers were Larry Roberts, Ray MacDonald, Austin MacEachern, Harold James MacPhie and Allan Adams and a godchild, Arthur Corbett. Miss MacEachern was born in Antigonish, a daughter of Hugh MacEachern and the late Mary Catherine MacEachern. She graduated as a nursing assistant in 1954 and worked at the Montreal General Hospital and the Red Cross blood donor clinic for several years. AT the time of her death she was on the staff of the Montreal Convalescent Hospital. Surviving are her father; brother John Vincent, Cape George, Three sisters, Mary Jeanette, Halifax; Eunice Anne, at home; and Aileen (Mrs. James MacNeil), Cloverville; a niece and six nephews.
