Funeral services were held August 12 in Holy Rosary Church, Ballantynes Cove, for the late Penelope Anne MacEachern, 87, of Cape George, Antigonish County. Rev. Angus macGillivray officiating. Miss MacEachern died August ?? in the R.K, MacDonald Nursing Home. Pallbearers were Vince MacEachern, Brydon macNeil., Matthew MacDonald, Alex Adams, Freddie Boyd, and Hugh Hughie MacInnis. Burial was in the parish cemetery. Born in Cape George, she was a daughter of the late John and Janette (MacDonald) MacEachern. Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Annie Jane Keizer, Cape George, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Mary and six brothers, Hugh, Dougall, Joseph, Cameron, Vincet and John R.
