Ruth Veronica MacEachern, 75, South Side Cape George, Antigonish County, died January 15, 1993 at home. Born in Cole harbour, Halifax County, she was a daughter of the late Frederick and Ethel (Lintham) Conrad. At nine years of age, she was adopted by the late Albert and Cassie Falkenham. She was an active member of the community and an avid card and bingo player. She is survived by two daughters, Eva (Mrs. Archie Murphy), Margaret (Mrs. Alex Ross), both of Margaree Valley, Inverness County; stepdaughter Carmel (Mrs. John Forbes), Truro; four sons, Albert, Louis, Tommy, all of Cape George; Tony, Edmonton, Alta.; stepbrother, Kimball Falkenham, Ballantynes Cove; 24 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Alex R.; daughter Catherine MacInnis. The body is in MacIsaac Funeral Home, Antigonish . Funeral will be 2:30 p.m. today in Holy Rosary Church, Ballantynes Cove, Rev. John MacDonald officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
