Funeral services for the late Thomas Joseph MacEachern, 79, of Cape George Point, Antigonish County, took place January 29, in Holy Rosary Church, Ballantynes Cove, with Rev. John Hugh MacDonald officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Mr. MacEachern died January 26, at home. Readers at the Mass were the deceased’s niece Debby Carron and grandniece Darlene Proctor. Pallbearers were Jackie MacEachern, Jackie (twin), William, Tommy and Louie MacEachern and Joseph MacInnis. Born in Cape George Point, he was a son of the late Ronald and Elizabeth (MacInnis) MacEachern. He was a retired fisherman and farmer. He is survived by his sister, Hyasinthe Jenner, Chilliwack, B.C.; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three sisters, Annie Bean, Elizabeth MacLean and Margaret MacEachern; and five brothers, Louis, John Dan, Alexander, Colin and Angus.
