Funeral services for the late Agnes MacGillivray, 66, of Malignant Cove, Antigonish County, were held this past Tuesday in St. George’s Church, Georgeville, with Rev. Angus MacGillivray officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Miss MacGillivray died on March 5 at home. Pallbearers were Bernie Chisholm, Kenny Chisholm, John Angus Chisholm, Arthur Arbuckle, Douglas MacDonald and John Simms. Born in Malignant Cove, She was a daughter of the late Hugh and Catherine (MacInnis) MacGillivray. She was a member of St. George’s Parish. She is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Mary F. Chisholm; Mrs. Margaret Simms, both of Malignant Cove; and Rita (Mrs. Guy) Mattatal, Westville. She was predeceased by three brothers, John Raymond, Joseph Alexander and Hugh Bernard.
