There died in Antigonish, April 24, 1945, Mary MacEachern, widow of the late Angus MacGillivray, Antigonish, at the age of 93. She was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Donald Lauchie MacEachern, Cape George, and spent most of her mature life in Antigonish. Surviving are two brothers and one sister: L. J. MacEachern and Mrs. Hector MacDonald, Antigonish; and Dan MacEachern, Seattle. The funeral took place April 26 with requiem Mass at St. Ninian’s Cathedral. Mrs. MacGillivray was laid to rest beside her husband at St. Ninian’s cemetery.
