C. MacInnes, Contractor, Dead at 61 – Colin Francis MacInnes, 61, Antigonish contractor, died October 19 in St. Martha’s Hospital. He was born at Cape George, son of the late John W. and Matilda (MacEachern) MacInnes. He is survived by his wife, the former Alice Elliott; six sons, Billy, Flin Flon, Manitoba; Jack, Trenton, Ontario; Barry, Philip, Larry, and Robert at home; six daughters, Ethel (Mrs. Carmen Tobin), Antigonish; June (Mrs. Gene Caipo, La Mirada, Calif; Betty (Mrs. Russell Van de Grift, Cayce, South Carolina; Mabel (Mrs. Clarence Sutherland), New Glasgow; Mary and Evelyn at home; two brothers, Louis, Alberta; Dan Hugh, Antigonish; four sisters, Mrs. Margaret O’Hara, Elizabeth (Mrs. James MacGillivray), Mary, all of Watham, Mass., Annie (Mrs. Harvey Gamelin), Alberta; and thirteen grandchildren. Four brothers and one sister are dead. The funeral Mass was celebrated in St. Ninian’s Cathedral Tuesday morning.
