Angus R. MacInnis 1920-2005 Angus (Gus) R. MacInnis, P,.Eng of Hollywood Drive, Moncton, passed away Sunday, January 30, 20905 at the Moncton Hospital at the age of 84.  Born in 1920 in Georgeville, Antigonish Co., NS, son of the late Dan A. and Martha (MacEachern) MacInnis.  Brought up in New Glasgow, NS, and was a graduate of St. John’s Academy and New Glasgow High School.  He was a veteran of World War II having served in England and North Africia with the R.C.A. F.  He was a graduate of St. F.X. University and the Technical University of Nova Scotia, Halifax in 1951 with a degree in civil engineering.  He joined the C.N. Railway in 1951 at Campbellton, and transferred to C.N.H.Q., Montreal in 1953.  He later served at Regional Headquarters, Moncton in the operations and marketing departments, retiring in 1984, as Atlantic Region Manager of Freight Services.  He was a long time member of the Engineering Institute of Canada, The Beaver Curling Club, and former member of the Magnetic Hill Golf Club, member of the St. F.X. Alumni Association, CN War Vets, CN Pensions Club, CN Supervisor Association, third degree member of the Knights of Columbus, Council 9372 Holy Family Parish, Moncton.  He is survived by a son, Peter (Lucy) of Riverview; daughters Susan of Ottawa, Kathleen (Dan) McCrimmon of Vancouver; three grandchildren; two great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his wife of 50 years, in 1997, the former Constance Hagen of Fort Frances, ON; brothers Alexander, Lauchlin, Leo, Gillis, Donald, Hugh; sisters, Mary, Sarah, Isabel.   Funeral Mass – Holy Family Catholic Church.  Burial Alderwood Cemetery.
