Dan J. MacInnis, well known farmer of the Point of Cape George, passed away Thursday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Angus MacGillivray, Lakevale, at the age of 87. Son of the late Hugh MacInnis he was born at The Point, where he spent his long useful life engaged in farming and fishing. Like his father before him. Mr. MacInnis was a leading church man and community man, both served as warden of St. George’s Catholic Church. His wife, was the former Mary Gillis of Glebe Road.
