Funeral Services were held for the late Donald Cyril MacInnis, 61, of Antigonish, in St. George’s Church, Georgeville, today (Wednesday) with REv. Angus MacGillivray officiating. Mr. MacInnis died on November 28, 1982. Pallbearers were Hugh A. Duncan, and Stevie MacInnis, Jimmy MacIntyre, and Duncan and Alex MacDonald. Burial was in the parish cemetery. Born in Antigonish, Donald was the son of the late Dan A. and Martha (MacEachern) MacInnis. He served in the Royal Canadian Navy during the Second World War and was a member of the Arras Branch of the Royal Canadian Legion. Surviving are four brothers; Alexander, New Glasgow; Leo, Georgeville; Angus R., Moncton; and Gillis, Arisaig; two sisters: Isabel (Mark) MacInnis, Cape George Point; and Sally (Ed) King, Norwood, Massachusetts. He was predeceased by two brothers, Lauchie and Hugh A., and an infant sister.
