Funeral services for the late Isabel MacInnis, 89, Cape George Point, Antigonish County, were held February 3 in Holy Rosary Church, Ballantyne’s Cove, with Father Angus MacGillivray officiating. Burial was in the parish cemetery.  Mrs. MacInnis died January 31st, 2004, in R.K. MacDonald Nursing HOIme, Antigonish.  Readers at the funeral Mass were Bert Fougere and Martha Elaine Cormier.  Marsha MacInnis, Mark MacInnis, Jolene Fougere, Kelly Fougere and Luke Fougere presented the offertory gifts.  Eucharistic minister was Albie Falkenham.  Music was provided by James MacPherson and Margaret MacDonald.  Active pallbearers were Stevie MacInnis, Leroy MacInnis, Colin MacDonald, Louis MacEachern, Gussie MacInnis and Billy King.  Honorary pallbearers were John V. MacEachern, Joe MacInnis, Robbie Linkletter, Richard Barker, Ray MacDonald, Pat MacDonald, Ted Adams and Ron MacInnis.  Born in Georgeville, she was a daughter of the late Danny Alex and Martha (MacEachern MacInnis.  She is survived by two sons, Hughie (Mary), Blaise, Cape George; two daughters, Martha, Antigonish; Hilma (Bert Fougere), Linwood; seven grandchildren; brother, Angus R. MacInnis, Moncton, New Brunswick.  She was predeceased by her husband, Mark; six brothers, Alexander, Lauchie, Leo, Donald, Gillis, Hughie; two sisters, Mary Martha, Sally King.
