27 Jan 1947 Angus Neil MacIsaac
Sudden Deaths – Mr McIsaac died in his barn Monday evening as he and his wife were milking the cows. He had previously seemed to be in good health, and had just completed his run on the rural mail delivery route between Malignant Cove and Arisaig. A native of Glebe Road Mr MacIsaac was married to a Miss Gillis of that place, and engaged in the lumber business for years with his brother-in-law, Dan A. Gillis. After being burned out he moved to Big Marsh, and later to Arisaig, where he followed fishing for some years. He moved to Malignant Cove about ten or twelve years ago. He had no family. News of his death came as a great shock to his many friends as he was a man of apparent rugged health and fine physique.
