On May 14, 1945, Mrs. Dan J. MacIsaac died in Springfield, Mass., at the home of her daughter, Mrs A.J. Fay. She was 82 years old and formerly lived at Georgeville. Other daughters are Mrs. Dan MacDonald and Mrs. Joseph MacGillivray, Brighton. Her husband predeceased her as well as two sons who were killed in the west some years ago. Burial was made at Georgeville, May 18, by Rev. J.A. Macdonald, St. F.X. celebrating Mass and conducting the ceremonies.
