Alexander MacLean, 54, of Georgeville died at St. Martha’s Hospital on May 19.  He was a veteran of World War II, serving with the Royal Canadian Air Force.  Surviving are his wife, the former Avon Roberts of Cape George; one daughter, Judy (Mrs. Cecil Willcott) of Dartmouth; two sons, James and John Allen, at home; one brother, Joseph in Georgeville; two sisters, Mary O’Brien, Maryvale and Peggy, Newton, Mass., and one grandchild.  Besides his parents, Angus and Minnie (MacNeil) MacLean, he was predeceased by one brother, John.  Requiem Mass was celebrated in St. George’s Church May 22 with burial in the parish cemetery.  Pallbearers were Allan MacIsaac, john Rankin Gillis, John H. MacEachern, Cecil MacLean, Joseph MacDonald and John Gillis.
