MacLean, Flora (MacGillivray)

13 Sep 1938  Flora MacLean (MacGillivray)

There died Sept. 13, 1938, at the home of her nephew, Hugh MacIsaac, Georgeville, at the age of 94, Flora, widow of the late William MacLean, Marshy Hope, who died 35 years ago.  Deceased was a sister of the late Father Andrew MacGillivray, and was the last surviving member of the Dummaglass family.  She had for years been housekeeper for her nephew, Rev. J. W. MacIsaac, and on his death went to Georgeville.  Mrs. MacLean had been in failing health for some time and for the past seven years had been blind.  A virtuous life and the rites of Holy Church brought her without fear to the portals of death.  She was buried at Georgeville, after requiem Mass in the parish church by Rev. Blase Campbell, P.P.
