Age 69, of Antigonish, passed away unexpectedly on January 2, 2022, in Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney, following a brief illness. Born in Antigonish, he was a son of the late Alexander and Yvonne (Roberts) MacLean. Jim was a miner for over 40 years and worked all around Canada, primarily in the Arctic. He was a devoted family man who was adored by all who knew him. He enjoyed golfing, curling, helping out on setting day, and spending time at the Legion ‘getting the news.’ He is survived by his beloved wife of 40 years, Belinda (Ingraham); daughters, Krista (Regan) MacLellan, Prince Edward Island; Andrea (Sean) Kyle, Truro; grandchildren, Madilynn and Lucy Kyle and Clark and Thea MacLellan; sister, Judy (late Eric), Antigonish; and brother, John Allan (Carolin), Georgeville. Besides his parents, predeceased by mother and father-in-law, Bobby and Donna Ingraham. Cremation has taken place. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private funeral will be held in the Antigonish Legion. In Memoriam, donations to Canadian Cancer Society or the Cape Breton Regional Hospital Foundation appreciated.
