MacMillan – At Livingstone’s Cove, Thursday, August 14, Jane, widow of the late John McMillan, aged 62, She was born at Pitcher’s Farm, this county, daughter of the lateMr. And Mrs. Donald Cameron. Mrs. MacMillan as a woman of fine qualities, and was a leading worker in the United Church at Cape George. She is survived by six sons: Alexander D., at home; Colin S., Murray A, George McD., and William T. of Detroit; and John Jas. of Pinevale. Interment at Cape George.
MacMillan – August 14, Mary Jane, widow of the late John MacMillan, Livingstone’s Cove, at her home, following a long illness, at the age of 62. Her death comes as a shock to her many friends. She was born at Pitchers Farm, this county, daughter of the late Mr. And Mrs. Daniel Cameron MacMillan, Mrs. MacMillan was a woman of fine qualities, industrious and charitable, always a good neighbour and a leading worker in the United Church, Cape George, and a member of the W.M.S. She leaves to mourn their loss six sons and one adopted daughter: Alexander D. at home; Colin S., Murray A., William T., George McD. in Detroit; John James at Pitchers Farm; Jessie C. at home; also three brothers and one sister. She will be long remembered by neighbours and friends. Interment was at Cape George Saturday afternoon.
