Jessie M. MacMillan – Funeral services for the late Jessie Margaret MacMillan, 87, of Livingstone Cove, Antigonish County, were held December 28 in St. James United Church with Rev. Ralph Webber officiating. Spring burial will be in St. David’s United Church Cemetery, Cape George. Mrs. MacMillan died December 26 in St. Martha’s Hospital. Pallbearers were Gordon MacMillan, Billy MacMillan, Alex Adams, Allan Adams, Hugh MacGillivray and Merle Toole. Born in James River, Antigonish County, she was a daughter of the late Samuel and Margaret Ann (Sutherland) Cameron. She had been post mistress for several years in Livingstone Cove. She was a member of St. David’s United Church. She is survived by a daughter Margaret (Mrs. Robert) Linkletter, Livingstone Cove; a brother James, Toronto; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She was predeceased by her husband Alexander D.; two sisters Ella (Mrs. John) Adams and Christina (Mrs. Angus) Bouchard; and three brothers, Wilfred, Robert and Huntley.
