Funeral services were held Monday for the late Dan C. MacNeil, 75, of Morar in St. George’s Church, Georgetown, with Rev. Angus MacGillivray officiating. Mr. MacNeil died April 24 in Glen Haven Manor, New Glasgow. Pallbearers were Dan Hugh MacInnis, Mark MacInnis, John Hugh MacEachern, Douglas MacNeil, Frank MacNeil, and Kimball Falkenham. Burial was in the parish cemetery. Born in Morar, he was a son of the late Charles and Pauline (MacInnis) MacNeil. He was a retired farmer. Surviving are six sisters, Mrs. Anna Doyle, Malden, Mass.; Mrs. Rita MacDonald, Lowell, Mass.; Mrs. Catherine Barber, Elizabeth , N.J.;and Genevieve (Mrs. Joe) DePersis, Phoenix, Ariz.; and a brother, Albert, Midford Mass.
