MACPHERSON – At Morar, Ant., Co., Jan. 9, 1938, Christena, widow of the late Dan MacPherson in her 82nd year. She was a daughter of the late Rory and Margaret MacDonald, Cape George Point. Frequently consoled by the sacraments of the Catholic Church, she passed peacefully to her eternal reward. She is survived by two sons, Anthony and Rod, in the Canadian west, and four daughters in the U.S.A.; Anna Mrs. Joseph Ecker; May, Mrs. Fred Kaladorf; Ursula, Mrs. Morning; and Mary Kate; also by two sisters, Mary at Antigonish Harbour; and Mary of Somerville, Mass. On Jan 112, she was laid to rest at Georgeville cemetery, beside her husband who died three months ago. Rev. Blaise Campbell officiated at church and grave.
