MacPhie (MacInnis), Louise – 87, J.J. Carroll House, Antigonish, formerly of Ballantynes Cove, died Thursday, July 16, 1998, in St. Martha’s Hospital, Antigonish. Born July 27, 1910, in cape George Point, she was a daughter of the late John and Anastia (MacDonald) MacInnis. She was a member of the Holy Rosary Parish and Alter Society, and St. Ninian’s CWL. Surviving are daughters Joan (Malcolm) MacEachern, Antigonish, Janet Murphy, Middleton; Doris (Ron) Fox, Chicago; anne (Ray) MacDonald, Arisaig; Gladys (James) MacGillivray, William Point; daughter-in-law, Marion Anne, Antigonish; sons Harold (Patsy), Cape George; John M., Antigonish; sisters, Hannah MacInnis, Cape George Point; Christine Chebot, Lynn, Mass.; brother Albert, Greenwood Manor, Antigonish; 27 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren, and a great-great-granddaughter. She was predeceased by her husband Harold C.; two sons, Donald William (Billy), Leonard; sisters Margaret Ann, Linda, Florence, Catherine, Janet, Gertrude; brothers Dan J., Augustus, Hugh J. Buried Holy Rosary.
