Mabel MacPhie, 80, of Cape George, died at Glen Haven Manor, New Glasgow. She was the daughter of William S. and Catherine (MacNair) Macphie. Surviving are a brother, Harold, Ballantynes Cove; Three sisters, Margaret, at home; Elizabeth (Mrs. Ernest Ballantyne), Cape George and Kathleen (Mrs. J.A. Thomson, Halifax. Three brothers, Leonard, Matthew and Irving, are dead. Funeral services were held from St. David’s United Church, Cape George and burial was in the parish cemetery. Pallbearers were all nephews of Miss MacPhie.
