6 Nov 1980 Mary Margaret Malone (Livingstone)
Mary Margaret Malone, 70, of Halifax, and formerly of Cape George, Antigonish County, died on November 6 at the Halifax Infirmary. Born at Cape George, she was a daughter of the late John and Laura Livingstone. She was a former teacher in Antigonish County before moving to Halifax in 1938 when she joined the Halifax Post Office. Subsequently she was transferred to the Department of National REvenue, Taxation Division, and worked there until her retirement in 1975. She is survived by one sister, Colleen, Halifax; and one brother, John, Hamilton, Ontario. Burial services were held on October 9 in St. Mary’s Basilica, Halifax, with burial in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
