Industrial Accident Takes Life.  A decision was pending early this week on whether to hold a magisterial inquiry into the death Thursday of Clermont Marquis, 45, of Pine Street, Antigonish, in an industrial accident at the rock quarry and crushing complex at Aulds Cove.  RCMP in Port Hawkesbury said it appears Marquis, the father of three children , was crushed to death by a conveyor after he slipped and fell while trying to free a jammed machine.  The accident occurred about 4 p.m. during loading of the MV Baybridge, a Norwegian owned freighter bound for Bermuda, with 16,000 tons of gravel and asphalt sand.  An autopsy was performed on the body of the victim, an employee of Nova Construction  which operates the quarry through Construction Aggregates Ltd.  A decision on an inquiry was to be taken after consultation between the medical examiner and police. …….  Surviving are his wife, the former Cecilia MacEachern; a daughter Cecilia Ann and two sons, John and Andre, all at home;……
