Drowned – A telegram from Archie McPhie of Lowell, Mass., to W.G. Cunningham of this Town, conveys the sad intelligence of the death, by drowning of Peter McDonald at that place. The unfortunate young man was a son of Donald McDonald (Custos), Cape George and about 26 years of age. He, with McPhie, who is also a native of Cape George, was working as a telephone lineman in Lowell.
