At Cape George Point, on April 27th, 1909, after a protracted illness which he bore with Christian patience, Donald McEachern (Archie) in the 80th year of his age. Deceased was always noted for his kindness and hospitality, and he will be long missed. The neighborhood extends its sympathy to his disconsolate widow. He leaves also one son, three daughters, one brother, one sister and a host of relatives and friends to mourn his loss. Fortified by all the rites of Holy Mother Church, he calmly passed away with the firm hope of enjoying a glorious immortality. After a Requiem High Mass on April 29th, his remains were tenderly laid to rest in the family plot in the cemetery at Ballantyne’s Cove.
