At Cape George Pt, Ant., Jan, 4 1916, after a protracted illness which she bore with Christian patience Isabel McInnis, relict of the late Lewis McEachern, at the advanced age of 89 – the last of a family of 12. Deceased was always noted for her kindness and hospitality. The sympathy of the community goes out to her sorrowing family five sons and three daughters. Fortified by all the rites of Holy Mother Church, she calmly yielded her soul to God with the firm hope of enjoying a glorious immortality. After a Requiem High Mass, by Rev. Donald Beaton, P.P. on the 5th inst., her remains were tenderly laid to rest in the new cemetery at Ballantyne’s Cove.
