A telegram Wednesday to J.R. Haley, Antigonish, from his brother Aruthur Haley, station master at Rossland, B.C., conveys the sad intelligence that Joseph McEachern was instantly killed while at work in the Le Roi gold mines at that place.  Deceased, who was a son of Donald McEachern, Cape George, was only 25 years of age.  He left Antigonish for Rossland on the 2nd of April, with several other young men.  The mining company have offered to send his remains home, and his parents have decided that they shall be interred at Antigonish.
