On May 1, at St. Martha’s Hospital, Marcella MacIsaac, wife of the late Alexander McIsaac, Georgeville. Deceased was born at Hallowell Grant in 1860 and was a daughter of the late John MacGillivray and Marcella MacDougall.  Mrs. McIsaac was a woman of strong character, possessing excellent qualities of mind and heart.  All who knew her were edified by her trust in the Providence of God and her childlike devotion to Our Blessed Mother.  AFter a short illness, during which time she was fortified by the last sacraments of Holy Mother Church, Mrs. McIsaac passed to her eternal regard.  The funeral took place May 3, burial being at St. Ninian’s  cemetery after requiem Mass by Rev. J.R. MacDonald at the Cathedral.  Deceased was an aunt of Rev. Alexander  MacGillivray, Alberta; of Rev. Roderick MacGillivray, Toronto; and of Rev. Sister St. John, C.N.D., Sydney Mines; and of Rev. Sister St. Regina, Mt. St. Bernard, Antigonish.
