Beverly McKeen 3 Mar 1949 – 25 Apr 2016
Beverly Anne McKeen of Bashaw, formerly of Camrose, passed away on Monday, April 25, 2016 at the age of 67 years. Beverly was born in Antigonish, Nova Scotia on March 3, 1949 where she was adopted by Dan C. and Florence McNeil. While in Nova Scotia, she raised her five sons and worked various jobs. She decided later in her life to move across Canada, stopping in Camrose, Wetaskiwin, and eventually on to Bashaw which she called home. On her path to Bashaw she met her husband Neil McKeen who she married on July 19, 2012 and began a new journey. She was very loving, caring, and kind, known by many as “Mom”. she will be forever missed and her light will forever shine in our hearts. She is lovingly remembered by her husband Neil McKeen; four sons Melvin Wells of Ferintosh, Daniel (Tanya) Wells of Red Deer, Trevor (Taylor) Wells of Bashaw, and John David (Heather) Wells of Camrose; step-children Wesley McKeen of Edmonton, and Brenda McKeen of Edmonton; five and a half grandchildren; one step-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews. Beverly was predeceased by her parents Dan and Florence McNeil, and son Whitney Wells. A funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 30, 2016 from the Burgar Memorial Chapel with Rev. Brian Hunter officiating.
