At East Sagus, Mass., USA, on February 8th in the 42nd year of his age, John McLean, son of the late Alexander McLean of Rear Georgeville. A relapse after an attack of typhoid pneumonia brought his beautiful life to an early end. His death, like his life, was worthy of a true Christian, for he prepared for it by a devout reception of the last sacraments and went to his reward trusting in the divine mercy and resigned to the will of God. Five young children and a disconsolate widow mourn the loss of a kind father and a loving husband. The sympathy of the community goes out to them, to his aged mother and other members of the bereaved family.
