At Union, San Luis, California, on March 17th, 1914, Roderick McNeil, aged 48 years, a native of Georgeville, N.S., and a resident of California for twenty-nine years. Deceased visited his former home twelve years ago. He was highly esteemed by all. During his long illness he was frequently consoled and strengthened by the rites of HIs Holy Mother Church. He leaves a sorrowing, loving wife and four children, besides a brother and two sisters at Georgeville, and a host of friends to mourn his early demise. May his soul rest in peace.
His wife was Antonia Wolf (1877-1966). Children were: Roderick Jr, Albert, Marie and Doris
