At South Cape George, on the 12th ult, Isabel the beloved wife of Seward McPhee, in the 42nd year of her age.  About a year ago the deceased underwent a serious surgical operation at St. Martha’s Hospital, Antigonish.  With medical attendance and tender nursing at the Hospital, she was able to go home in two or three weeks time, apparently cured.  Providence, however, otherwise decree – the old trouble returned and after months of severe suffering she passed peacefully away – courageous in life, in the conflict with death, she was not dismayed.  With others who have felt the cold grip of death, she could say “Of Death, Where is thy sting? O grave where is thy Victory?  The funeral at which Rev. A.H. Denoon, Antigonish, officiated, was largely attended – She leaves a disconsolate husband and seven sorrowful children to mourn their loss.
