14th Oct 1911 Isabella McPhee (McPhie)
At Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow, on Saturday, 14th inst, Mrs. Alexander McPhee of Cape George, County, Antigonish. Mrs. McPhee left Antigonish ten days previously to visit friends in Stellarton, contracted a cold which developed into pneumonia. On Tuesday, 10th, she was removed to the said hospital, where she passed away on the evening of the 14th. Two daughters, Miss Etta, of Roxbury, and Mrs. J.C. McNaughton, this Town, was present at her deathbed. Her husband and son arrived in New Glasgow only to learn that her remains were on the way to the station from the hospital. Three sons and a daughter arrived home in time for the funeral, which was largely attended. Rev. A.H. Denoon officiated at the funeral services. The deceased was in her 67th year, and leaves a husband, six sons, and three daughters to mourn their loss.
