Mrs. Duncan J. MacDonald, Cape George has received the war cross issued in memory of her son Pte. Dan W. who gave up his life for this country on the battle fields of Flanders. The cross was accompanied by the number and description of his grave. Pte. MacDonald enlisted in the early stages of the war.
