Mrs. Charles Sinclair, 53, of Lakvale, died in the Halifax Infirmary on December 30. The funeral Requiem was celebrated in St. Ninian’s Cathedral on Wednesday and burial was in the parish cemetery. Mrs. Sinclair was the former Mary Christine MacDonald, a daughter of Laughlin and
Mary Ann (MacDonald) MacDonald of Glace Bay. She was married twice. Her first husband was the late Archibald MacKinnon of Georgeville. Her second husband, Charles Sinclair of Roachvale, and son Charles MacKinnon are also dead. Surviving are two daughters, Florence (Mrs. Terrence Bower), Antigonish, and Eileen (Mrs. Kenneth Levy), Monastery; five sons: Jerome MacKinnon, Lakevale; Murray MacKinnon, Goose Bay, Labrador and Michael, John and Joseph Sinclair of Lakvale.
