Ernie Wallace, 25, died as the result of an accident in Ottawa on May 5. He was a son of Mr and Mrs Frank Wallace of Lakevale and had been living in the national capital city. The funeral Requiem was celebrated in St. Patrick’s Church and burial was in the Ottawa church cemetery. Besides his parents, he is survived by eight brothers and four sisters: Betty (Mrs. BenClarke, Ottawa; twin brothers Donnie of Ottawa and Dougals of Antigonish; Jean, Ottawa; Harold, twin brothers Bernard and Bryden, Eleanor Lynn, Hugh V., Robert and Glenn all at home. His maternal grandmother, Mrs. Ernest Ballantyne, lives at Cape George.
